7 Steps to Team Alignment

Step 1

Initial Consultation

  • Work with Team Leader to understand business challenges, issues and objectives.  
  • Review Overall Alignment Process
  • Design interview template. 

2 hours

Step 2

Assessment

  • Sixty-minute interviews with all team members as well as other key stakeholders (key leaders, internal/external customers) to understand business issues and team dynamics.
  • Team Alignment Questionnaire – an online survey from Integro that provides a baseline for ongoing measurement of improvements.

1-2 Days

Step 3

Analyze Data, Generate Alignment Report

  • Distill raw data from interviews and surveys into an organized, logical and actionable set of themes.

Step 4

Leader Debrief and Planning Session

  • Review Alignment Report with Team Leader
  • Develop Agenda for Team Alignment Session

½ day

Step 5

Team Alignment Session

  • With expert facilitation and coaching, team aligns on current state, desired future state, priorities, and a path forward.
  • Learn and practice True Alignment Practices which will help a team to create true alignment in the future without facilitation. 

1½ -3 Days

Step 6

Action Learning

  • Targeted ongoing executive coaching where indicated.

Follow-up Alignment Session

  • Held 30 – 60 days later, this session will assess progress, measure results, capture learnings and provide the opportunity to make adjustments going forward.
